Privacy notice

This website sets no cookies and measures nothing about you: no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Data arises when you open its pages (our server's logs), when you check a website and when you give us an email address.

Our server logs every request: the page, the time, the response, your browser and a shortened IP address. We need this to run the website securely and find errors, and we delete the logs after 14 days.

We store the address of the website checked and the result. So nobody abuses the check, we count checks per visitor with an encrypted value of your IP address, not the address itself. For the load time and the Business Profile we ask Google with the checked website's address, not with your data.

We store your email address, your studio's country and when you confirmed. We send the report only once you've confirmed the address. An AI (Anthropic) writes the short summary from the check results; it receives neither your email address nor text from your website.

We write to you about the results only if you tick the box. We store which wording you ticked and when. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every email.

Your email lands in our mailbox. We use it to reply and to have the call, and delete it if no collaboration has come of it after 12 months.

OVHcloud, which runs our servers, and our email delivery process data on our behalf. Google receives the address of the website checked, Anthropic the check results without anything that identifies you.

Our servers are in Germany, their encrypted backups in France; Swiss law recognizes both countries as protecting data adequately. Google and Anthropic are based in the US. They receive no data about you, only the address of the website checked and the check results.

We delete an unconfirmed email address after 7 days and a confirmed one 30 days after the report, unless you agreed to messages about the results; then we delete it once you unsubscribe. The check results stay stored without anything that identifies you.

You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to hallo@heydaykit.ch. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

If what we process changes, we update this notice. The version with the date above applies.
